Build, experiment, and explore robotics with the DIY Light Avoiding Buddy Robot Car, an engaging STEM science project designed to introduce students to light sensing, electronics, sensors, circuits, and robotic movement. The robot uses an LDR light sensor to detect light from sources such as a torch or flashlight and is designed to move away from the detected light, helping students understand sensor-based automatic control through a practical working model. This DIY robotics kit gives students hands-on experience with assembling electronic components, making circuit connections, understanding LDR sensor operation, and observing how a robotic car responds to changes in light intensity. It supports learning concepts related to science, physics, electronics, engineering, and robotics in an interactive way. Ideal for school science projects, STEM activities, robotics learning, science exhibitions, classroom demonstrations, hobby projects, and home experiments, the Light Avoiding Buddy Robot encourages problem-solving, logical thinking, creativity, and practical electronics skills. Students can shine a torch toward the sensor and observe how the Buddy Robot reacts by moving away from the light. A useful educational project for students who want to explore light-sensitive robots, LDR-based circuits, sensor-controlled robotic cars, electronics experiments, and automatic working models while enjoying the experience of learning by doing.
